Sorting assets with children first

Nick 8 years ago in BLOX CMS updated 8 years ago 2
I know there is a query rule to only display assets with child assets but is there(or will there be) a sorting rule to show assets with children first? Often times only a few of our local articles have photos. The editors are supposed to give articles priorities each night to ensure the ones with photos display at the top but that doesn't always happen. This can be troublesome, especially on the weekends when I'm much more concerned with enjoying my time off than checking BLOX.

How about this...

You could make two blocks and put them on top of each other. Four stories with previews only goes on the top, and then four stories with no previews on the bottom. This would make sure you always has photos in the top half. Does that make sense?
That would work, but our home page has an "asset index - lead presentation" block for the main story and then an "asset index - lead side headlines" for the other stories. So I don't think there's a way to separate them like that.
